Nippon Sangoku

Trippy animation style in opening and intro sequence immediately catches attention. I really like the art style its very one of a kind. It combines thick dark black edges on characters with a very subtle use of color accentuating the times they do use color all the more. It feels like a chinese animation production in that sense since those tend to have more unconventional art styles in general. The contrast of red blood on white snow on a stale colorless black and white color palette will always look clean as hell. It also gives me vibes of works like tatami galaxy when it comes to both its art style and comedy and monogatari when it comes to dialogue and storytelling style. And call of the night another very vibe heavy show - in my opinion the epitome of those that i have watched so far.
