Oshi no Ko Season 3

Some of these backgrounds are very beautiful.

I like the 1 on 1 talks these characters have they seem very mature and believable. The one with aku and mem cho nearly broke me.

I really like the color palettes they use especially the sunsets and how extreme it changes how the characters get colored.

Ending i think is catchy aswell - its a bit odd but fine. Like it feels not that fitting and more psycho than the anime itself so far.

The realistic way it portrays show business hasnt changed, a great thing. I hope the detective/mystery aspects comeout more sometime this season i think that has been missing lately in the anime.

Its really impressive how all characters seem to have their own story arcs yet i dont feel overwhelmed at all. Especially really liked the scene of kana and masanoro the film producer in his apartment..

I noticed the way oshi no ko treats lore dumps seems to go all in on immersion by having the characters thoughts be the vessel and not an outside narrator. Kana quickly rose to my favourite character with these last few episodes. Her character arc is the most interesting one of the bunch currently. She struggles a lot and is the most conflicted and very facetted character. The show has not yet got more mystery like i hoped but this character focused kana arc is also nice.

I feel bad for akane she just wanted the best for aqua i can understand both sides.

I am very excited to see what awuas plan is, it seems to go towards a big revenge story but how violent is it gonna be considering this anime is fairly tame regarding gore… he wont be able to torture crazily.

I feel like the way it was handled with aqua covering for kana is pretty unrealistic - why would the magazine not publish both big news or publish kanas a day afterwards or something? Like why would the magazine be not publishing it at all just because even bigger news surfaced?

The variety it goes now towards movie and documentary production in detail is so interesting to see for me

This is in general in media i feel like but especially in anime and manga if one is about a specific topic like in this case acting and the idol landscape, its always best to go as deep and far into detail as possible, it makes for the most interesting and unique media in those formats i feel like.

The private audition scenes really showed how advanced the face animations of oshi no ko are. Lots of emotions get displayed in a very intense and raw way by using all kinds of effect work be it eye animation, background work or sfx.

Of course they gotta hit us with a cliffhanger.

The scene with aqua and ruby realizing who they actually are eachother was very climatic.

I expected this last episode to actually show more of the documentary so I didnt really get why it had to be 50 minutes long especially the second half was kind of stretched and not that much happened.
