Oshi no Ko keeps doing what it does best, going deep into the entertainment industry with characters that feel real enough to care about. The animation and sound are fantastic across the board, especially the audition scenes where the face animation goes all out. Only criticism is the finale stretching itself to 50 minutes without enough content to fill it, and the detective/mystery side i was hoping for still hasnt come through this season.
Pros
- kanas character arc is the most compelling and conflicted of the cast
- industry realism goes even deeper into documentary and film production
- face animations in the audition scenes are on another level
- sound design is fantastic across the whole season
Cons
- finale stretched to 50 minutes without the content to justify it
- the mystery/detective thread still hasnt materialized after three seasons
