Steel Ball Run JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 1st Stage
Jojo’s stands for ridiculous comedy, the ability to constantly go further when it comes to inventing new weird powers and characters and Hirohiko Araki’s seemingly boundless and infinite creativity.
Who's it for:I think jojos part 7 is for everyone that loves jojos of course but also fitting for people that havent watched the previous parts, it is way looser connected than the other parts. I think part 1-3 are kinda connected, the others more loosely and part 7 even more loosely.
Who should skip it:Anyone who doesnt like the art style will not be able to get into it because the art style is part of jojos core identity and one of the things that hasnt been changed but rather kinda evolved within its style throughout the parts.
Worth the stop?:Its the start, it is necessary and a good first taste to get a feel if jojos might be for one or not tastewise.
Pros
- art style looks polished no matter if the animation is middle of the tier or top of the line
- sfx and ost as brilliant as in the previous parts
- creative and unexpected moments, played straight or comedic
- cgi is used well and never too prevalent
