Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2021)

This movie was depressing to watch when thinking about how good it could have been with a 2D animated artstyle more closely resembling the drawings in the books. It also rushes through the story at a pace that cuts everything that made the source material work. Some important characters are barely in it, Greg and Rowley don't get enough dynamics together and sone of the best scenes are not there at all Voice acting is fine but the OST is completely forgettable. If you know the books this is a disappointing adaptation that speedruns itself into irrelevance.
